Our mission is simple: to offer high quality vitamins for great value. Here's how we work and why you can trust us.
We're so glad you're here. Our mission is simple: to make honest, well-sourced and effective vitamins with better ingredients for a fair price. Here's a bit on how we work and what we believe — and why you can trust us.
We've been around since 1993, supplying supplements to local ethnic communities around the Los Angeles suburbs. In 2017, we redeveloped and expanded our product line to serve a wider audience — you!
We're now a 2nd generation family owned and operated business, so we make products to exacting standards that are good enough for our family and yours. We've been doing this for over a decade, making supplements for some of the world's most premium and trustworthy brands.
We're fully registered with the FDA and also NSF GMP certified, which means that we are also regularly audited by third parties to make sure our facility stays spotlessly clean and adheres to all regulations.
We have our own microbiology lab and equipment. We test obsessively to make sure that raw ingredients contain what they are supposed to and aren't contaminated with bacteria. We also test all the batches of finished goods too. (For all you science nerds out there, we're specifically talking gas chromatography and HPLC assays, among others.)
For any specialized tests, like heavy metals, we happily outsource testing to third party labs. It's an expense that we never skimp on.
If you want to see any test results, you can check it yourself! Find the batch number on the bottom of your bottle and pop it in the field below. We’ll show you what’s inside, where we sourced it and its quality test results! See what's in your bottle here.
We've worked with some of our supplier partners for as long as we've been around. Many of them are also family-owned, and we all share the same commitment to providing health and wellness to people. Human consumption and industrialization has an unavoidable effect on the environment, but we do our best to reduce our footprint.
Pharma Marine, a three-generation family fish oil supplier based in Norway, is one of our oldest and most innovative partners. They invented a certified sustainable way of extracting omega-3 fish oils from cod fish trimmings, which are a by product of food production. We're so proud to use their MSC-certified omega-3 fish oils!
Another multi-generational family-owned partner, Vitusa Products, produces vegetable glycerin. They source from certified manufacturers of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) to ensure responsible long-term environmental practices.
You can recycle all of our bottles, which are made with PET with aluminum caps. Our labels and box cartons are FSC certified, made with 100% renewable energy and 100% post consumer waste. Our shipping boxes are also SFI certified, made of 60% to 95% post-consumer waste, and 100% recyclable.
We'll be the first to say it — our products are not a substitute for eating well, staying active and seeing your doctor. We believe in supplements as nutritional insurance of sorts; they can help cover gaps in your diet or lifestyle, such as working a desk job that doesn't provide time for natural vitamin D synthesis in the sun.
We believe in 'just enough', so you won't find any 100-ingredient products or 10,000% RDA formulations here. And definitely no sketchy grey-area ingredients that claim to solve all of your problems. We're just here to provide a little extra.
Everything, even sugary and fatty treats, in moderation. Yoga, meditation, mindfulness, and self care. Showing gratitude, even as we continue to work on ourselves. Saying no to extreme diets, deprivation and self punishment. For us, that's true wellness.
